Job Title: Auditor – Quality Plus+ Scheme
Location: Various client sites / Remote (with travel required)
Job Type: Contract / Part-time / Full-time (depending on organisation)
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager / Audit Program Coordinator.
Job Purpose:
To conduct audits in accordance with the Quality Plus+ Scheme standards, ensuring that participating organisations meet or exceed established quality benchmarks. The Auditor plays a key role in evaluating compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting continuous quality enhancement across participating services or facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site and/or remote audits in line with Quality Plus+ Scheme protocols and timelines.
Assess documentation, procedures, practices, and systems for compliance with quality standards.
Interview staff, management, and relevant stakeholders to gather insights and verify implementation.
Identify non-conformities, areas of concern, and best practices.
Prepare clear, objective, and comprehensive audit reports.
Provide constructive feedback to organisations, supporting quality improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Quality Plus+ standards, as well as relevant legislation and sector trends.
Participate in auditor calibration and training sessions to ensure consistency and reliability in assessments.
Handle audit documentation securely and ethically in accordance with data protection policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Members of the ICWCI and ACQP are welcomed to apply, Must be currantly in a Clerk of works Roles with some extra Capacity, Very Flexible working, Be your own Boss.
Level 6 Senior Site Inspection, or Construction Degree or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Clerk of works or quality assessment roles.
Familiarity with quality management systems, compliance frameworks, or accreditation schemes.
