Quality Plus+ Scheme Registration Help and Information



Welcome to the Quality Plus+ Scheme, The UK's first Free Scheme for Tier 1 Constractors and Main Contractors.
So, you're here because you're interested in the Scheme and want some more information, on registration and how to implement the scheme on your projects.

1. Sign upto the Scheme from the main Contractor Form online.

2. Pay the £100 Registration Fee, This is a one off fee to register each site to the scheme. There is NO further costs or expenses to the Main Contractor.

3. Ensure that the Subcontractor Sign up Link is including in your Projects PQQ. This is essentialial to have every Subcontractor taking part in upholding Quality on site, Large or Small contractors, everyone has to register as the Quality Audits appy to all, not the few.

4. Enforce subcontractor sign up if required, as this is a mandantory essential part of the scheme. The Scheme cannot start until everyone Subcontractor has Registered.

5. Provide The Quality Plus+ Team with a List of Subcontractors and their Project Value cost for the project in question. (If works are completed in Phases then the costs for each phase.)

6. Your Site Signage, Posters, Banners, Flags will be delivered to the Site Office address, These must be installed and positioned around the Site and the external Hording or Scaffolding and around the site. This is to ensure that the Client, Stakeholders and general public are aware that your site is a Quality Plus+ Site and that its part of the Nationwide Scheme.

7. Site Audits will commence Shortly after Registration, The Auditor will be a member of the Insititue of Clerk of Works or A Member of the Association of Construction Quality Professionals. They will Audit each company and provide a Report to them as well as an Overall Report to the Project Team.

8. Costs to Subcontractors start from a Minimum of 0.70% or £700 whicher is greatest, for contract values upto £100,000 and 0.10% for Contract Values upto £10,000,000 This includes all Reporting and Site visits and is more economical than employing a Clerk of Works or Quality Assurance Manager.

* Costs will be based on overall Contract value, if Planned contracts are set in Phases, Then this will be set as per phase, rather than the Overall full contract.
i.e Contract value of £1,277,576 would be £2,555.15p
The Miniumum Cost for Contractors is 0.70% or £700 whichever is greatest.

9. Prices are shown for yearly costs, however if Subcontractor Duration is known then a pro rata costs for the duration of the programmed works can be applied.
